HMECU Helping Hands….

Our History - Since 1935, HMECU has continued "To be the financial institution of choice, among the public sector and healthcare employees' and their families". 

Our mission continues to guide us "To be our members primary financial institution, by providing a wide range of competitively priced products, delivered with service that exceeds their expectations, while maintaining high standards of integrity and financial stability". 

Our commitment goes beyond the walls of the credit union.  HMECU continues to grow and develop our Community Partnership by providing sponsorships or donations to community organizations whose services benefit the employees and families of the Healthcare and Municipal sectors in the Hamilton, Brantford and Burlington areas. In addition to our community support through our partnerships, we also support the volunteer efforts of our staff. 

In fact, HMECU takes pride in demonstrating to our members that the service beyond expectations which is displayed throughout our branches also is established in our community and is at the very heart of our relationship with the members we serve.
