I have recently renewed my mortgage and updated my line of credit.  Lena was insightful and knowledgeable with the best options that would suit my needs.  I feel that she leads a great group of girls in her branch and they also need to be recognized.  You are recognized by name when you enter and they always have a friendly greeting to welcome you.  This is why I prefer the Credit Union over the big banks. Thank you

 

I would just like to say that the Brantford location HMECU staff are the best and the most personable people of any bank that I have ever dealt with they are so helpful and compassionate. Joanne is very professional and very kind hearted, she has helped my family on more than one occasion and I really want to say thank you to her by nominating her for this recognition. Many Thanks, Christine and Dave Q.

 

Hello Mr.Collura:  I am writing this to let you know how please I am with the service and care that I have been given on an ongoing basis. I have been a previous customer of the Bank of Montreal, CIBC, and TD trust. The professional service that I received when I setup a loan with Mary was well explained and the follow up well appreciated. I recently had some health issues and remembered how Mary explained the coverage that I had purchased and how to proceed if I needed it. With a quick phone call she helped me make contact with the insurance company and show her concern about my health. This makes me feel like a valued customer and friend of the credit union. Please make sure that Mary get a copy of this letter as she is very deserving of the compliment.  I will always promote to other people the awesome service that I get every time I deal with the credit union. Dear Mr. Collura, I am writing to thank you and your team for the caring and professional assistance I received after I discovered that my debit card had been de-frauded.  I spoke to you that evening when I was panicking that my trip to France would be compromised.  You’re authoritative and calm manner were very re-assuring and gave me confidence that the situation would be remedied.  On Friday when I contacted your staff in Brantford, they were extremely accommodating to my schedule and very helpful.  In 20 minutes, I had my new cards activated and the money returned to my account.  I have told several colleagues and friends about the efficient and customer-focused care I received at HMECU during this crisis and thank you again for your help.  Because of you, I enjoyed my 2 weeks in France and came home with some very nice new shoes :) Best regards,N. Laurie,James has done a terrific job as usual.  He has explained the calculation, and I have made a note of it in my records - so I won't have to ask again. Just as an aside; I want you to know that James has to be one of your best employees at the bank.  He is always very personable, and is a pleasure to deal with.  While all of the tellers are very nice, I would have to say James deserves the extra "star".  He truly puts forth an excellent image of the HMECU.  I would be most appreciative if you could make sure Charlie is also aware of my comments. Best regards,Bob J.

 

I have been banking with the CU for about 8 years and have always been able to depend on Joanne for all my borrowing needs etc.   I recently went through a divorce and Joanne assisted me with setting up my child support payments and also worked with me to arrange a possible payment plan on all my outstanding debts from my former marriage without going bankrupt.  I recently started doing some banking with BMO but they have seriously lacked the service I have come to enjoy from the HMECU!   In fact I will be moving ALL my banking BACK to the HMECU.

 

David I had a problem with my debit card, called the branch and within a few minutes the problem was fixed. Joanne even left a message at home for me letting me know that everything was fixed, THANK YOU!  

 

BONNIE WAS TODAY AND ALWAYS IS VERY POLITE, FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT AND HELPFUL EVERY TIME I VISIT HER SITE. Rita has helped me to re-establish not only my credit, but my faith in myself as a strong independent woman. Starting out alone as a woman can be hard, but with Rita\s letter of recommendation I was able to do just that. Rita has also helped me through some very difficult financial difficulties when no one else would even listen to me. She is compassionate, caring, non-judgmental and always willing to try and help. Margaret has stepped us through two mortgages at a time they have been most stressful to us due to personal reasons. Her professionalism is second to none and I often find myself quoting to many other business owners how the type of service Margaret offers is from times gone by. She has even checked in on us whilst on Holidays to ensure the transition has gone smoothing. Once again Gisele had come to our rescue. We were in a situation that we had no idea how to handle. So we called Gisele who never once hesitated to help us, she was such a great support through the ordeal. When a situation arose that she was not familiar with she was quick to go to other resources for help. With the phone tag that Gisele and Laurie had to do showed us that they are true professions who are very proud of the work they do for others. Our ordeal was such a stressful time for Dave and I just before Christmas and not knowing what our outcome would be was enough to send us over the edge, but Gisele was the one who helped us to hold it together. We would call her with information and she was quick to take it from us and deal with it. Once again Gisele thank you thank you thank you for everything you did for us.  You are a true asset for HMECU. 

 

James is a friendly employee that goes above and beyond the call of duty and does it with a positive and friendly attitude. His genuine care for bank clients is something that cannot be faked. It’s always a pleasure to see employees like this when I come in to do my banking. This type of service is one of the reasons H.M.E.C.U will continue to keep my business.  James M.

Good morning Charlie: I want to nominate Kathy Berry for the help, reassurance and confidence she let me believe I would get from the HMECU services from her and all the staff.  I took some advice from friends and family about refinancing all my debts with my mortgage. I have a mortgage with the RBC.  I took the advice and called them. After weeks of unbelievable bad service which I was at the end of my rope dealing with the RBC bank and having a mortgage with them for years. I could not believe the treatment I had to deal with.  Kathy had walked by my office and obviously saw I was not myself and in her kind words said stop by for a short break and come talk.  just with her kind words and smile I felt relieved.  I took her advice, went in with feeling comfortable and once we were done I felt a brick was lifted off my shoulders.  no paper work had even been processed but yet Kathy made me feel that no matter what everything would be ok!  .  because of Kathy I am making a promise to you Charlie and the HMECU that in 2012 I will be moving my mortgage to your branch.  Kathy saved me from a nervous breakdown.  I called the manager of the RBC branch I deal with and made sure she knew she would never be seeing me again.  she asked if there was anything she could do, I told her its too late.  not after what they put me through.  thank you once again to an outstanding lady and of course all the wonderful staff I’ve dealt with. LC

I had the unfortunate incident of inadvertently leaving my atm card at the st joes branch on a Friday, prior to leaving for a week long summer holiday. Nasim had the foresight to take the card to the Limeridge branch, which would be open on the Saturday and call me at home to let me know that the card was there. This was great service! She is also very informative, friendly and very professional and I thank her immensely for her foresight in regards to the aforementioned situation. Thanks.  Kathy L.
